Paul Shiman is the Chief Marketing Officer at Advocate Networks a leading management consulting firm. Mr. Shiman has over 25 years of sales and marketing experience leading companies in mobile and wireless technology, enterprise applications and most recently serving as Vice President Marketing for Stratix a leading mobile innovator. Paul has led sales and marketing teams at a number of major technology organizations including SiriusDecisions, Netkey, Motorola, (formerly Symbol Technologies), and GRiD Systems. Mr. Shiman received a B.A. degree in Business Administration from the London Metropolitan University.
Steve Bachman has thirty years experience in sales, marketing, operations, and corporate management in the technology industry with startup and fast growth technology product and service companies. Steve’s experience includes a successful track record with self funded and venture capital funded businesses, with multiple successes in creating shareholder value through profitable company growth and sale of businesses to McAfee, NetIQ, Computer Associates, Xcelerate, and Renaissance. Steve is a Co-Founder and serves on the Board of Directors of the Wireless Technology Forum and the Institute for Enterprise & Innovation. Steve was a founding director of TAG (Technology Association of Georgia), past director and President of the Southeastern Software Association (SSA), and a past director of SciTrek, the Business and Technology Alliance, the Interactive Media Alliance, the Windows / Presentation Managers Association, the SSA’s Web Challenge and ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) of Georgia.
Bruce Kopkin has 30 years experience in executive, sales and marketing positions in high tech industries. Bruce’s experience includes start-ups, small companies and large global enterprises and is focused on turning under-performing companies into winners. As Global Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Transoft, Bruce has responsibility for the field organization for Transoft’s portfolio of software and service solutions to modernize a wide variety of legacy technologies. Before Transoft, Bruce was Vice President of Sales for the JDA Software Manufacturing market where he led the growth of newly acquired Manugistics sales to CPG, Hi-Tech and manufacturers. Prior to joining JDA, he was Director of Sales for Indus International, a leader in Service Delivery Management solutions for the manufacturing and services industries. He helped return the Company to profitability and to drive significant increases in software license sales. Before Indus, Bruce was President of Lorentzen & Wettre North America where his accomplishments included tripling revenues through new channels, sales positioning and developing an outsourced service business. Previous positions include sales and management responsibilities with Honeywell, Ahlstrom, Measurex and Reliance Electric. He holds a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and presently resides in Marietta, Georgia with his wife, Lenora, and three children.
